There are blogs which work on a functional basis, but there are blogs that reach out to you. Well that is what blogs are for, to reach out to the masses. A recent post in the Search Engine Journal blog covers the noble mission of Americanblog.com.
Americanblog.com raised $5000 in 2 hours for 1st. Lt. William Eddie Rebrook to pay for his body armor, which was blown away in Iraq a year ago. Rebrook lost his body armor when he was wounded in a roadside bomb in Iraq, he had to leave army and complete hi graduation. Now that he has completed his studies the US Government is up with its demands of paying $700 for a lost body armor. The blog has set up a paypal account where all the money would go to the injured soldeir. The blog is not only providing for the financial recoup of Rebrook, but other soldeirs who have faced similar problems.
This blog is truly devoted to the cause of patriotism and completely stands by its slogan. It is really an asset to have such a blog in the blogging arena.
America Blog stands up for the cause of the US soldeirs
