Martin Roth Christian Commentary has ranked the Christian blogs and ranked them on a scale of 1 to 10. As said by Martin Roth:

How do you know which are the top blogs? You don’t. There’s no definitive ranking system. In July, I used the “Leaderboard” list compiled by the Thinking Out Loud blog, based on the number of links to each blog. This time I have used a top ten list from the blogs4God portal site.

Peggy Phillip news director of WMC-TV in Memphis has shut down her blog after getting threatened from the a bunch of bloggers running a blog called Peggyblues.

The guys who threatened Peggy under cover said:

We took the blog down, because Peggy took her blog down. We no longer have anything to respond to. We will never be exposed. We are not scared. If Peggy blogs about tv news, we will blog about tv news. If somebody else puts up an arrogant, nasty blog, we may blog about them. If people are nice, we will be nice.

Patsi Krakoff informs the small businessmen about the failures that they could face when they start a blog without any guidance.

As Patsi says:

How could you possibly know the most effective blogging strategies and tactics without learning and guidance by experts? Sure, blogs are for everyone and the software makes it easy and cheap for anyone to start a blog.

But a professional business blog that drives traffic and gets clients must be optimized correctly and treated as a valuable marketing strategy.

Save Google Free China is a blog aimed at restoring Google to its prime position and glory for the sake of the Chinese citizens.

Verona Video says:

The best outcome might be an alliance among the big three companies to insist on an open, free web in any nation in which they do business. The big three would need to be prepared to exit China if they must continue to be censored. And the big three would need the US government to pressure China to accept that unfiltered content provided by these companies.

This would be an alliance of the newly strong, strong enough in unity of shared values that they could insist that China open up the web to its citizens.

Chris Garrett of the Performancing Blogs lists down seven requirements of an easy blog launch.

As said by Chris:

It could be a milestone like the 1000 post mark, it could be the 6 months mark. It usually takes a good few weeks to just get into Googles index properly, sometimes longer to rank depending on your niche.

Acorn Blogs’s post on Chicken Contingency focuses on the steps taken by the Indian government and the steps that needs to be taken further to stop the H5N1 virus from spreading.

As said by Niraj:

The contingency plans have all been worked out - the challenge is in their implementation, by all concerned parties at all level. It is difficult to estimate or control the actions of the informal fowl breeders. Addressing the risk posed by backyard chickens will be tougher given the socio-economic conditions of the breeders, who are often small farmers. The time for political resolve is coming.

All Kinds of Stuff is a blog by John Kricfalusi that takes the readers into the world of cartoons. I think this is the first blog of its kind and is a good source of information for the budding cartoonists and a source of healthy entertainment for kids.
